A delicious and indulgent Indian dessert made with paneer and jalebi syrup.
Ingredients:
- 250 grams paneer, crumbled
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands, soaked in warm milk
- Oil for deep frying
- Jalebi syrup (recipe below)
For jalebi syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- A pinch of saffron strands
